                Perahu hill is located closed to Gempol roundabout more precisely place called Apollo. This place is hold a view that can refreshed the eyes of the visitors who went here. Not possible that this place be a spot for relax from daily busy activities. However this place also has another side that can ruin mood for run some activities in here. The local resident used some area of this hill for dropped daily garbage and the mining activity make some of another area eroded.

                The first problem about garbage which is dumped by local resident is also produced stinks smell and it’s make the visitors feel uncomfortable and hard to relax. Even some area which is full of garbage have been deliberately burned until the surround grass becomes burnt, but some people still throw garbage in there. If this activities still run on the hill it will make the visitor slowly but surely uninterested to come here soon. So that is why the local resident should stop dumping garbage. And also if needed, for the local organizations that are aware of can make regulations to preserve the hill.

                The last problem also greatly affected sustainability of the hill. The mining activities should be ended soon. Even some area has been eroded deeply, but the government still hasn’t acted on it. If the mining activities didn’t stop, it is possible that the hill will disappear and become dead ecosystem area which is also can affected local village with disaster like flood and landslides. This is why the government should act to stop the mining for secured the environment, especially for the hill area.

                As a visitor and one of the people who played a role in protecting the environment we must keep Perahu hill as it should so that it can still be enjoyed without the end to fear losing its natural value.
